Rector Search
St. Thomas' is seeking its 10th rector in our 100 year history.
St. Thomas’, a program parish, is seeking a rector who evidences a dedication to ongoing theological study and a tolerance for inquiry; who is grounded in his or her own spirituality and will confidently preach and teach the Gospel and help us to incorporate it into our daily lives; who will provide spiritual guidance for beginning seekers and life-long learners and pastoral care at times of transition and crisis; who can attract, inspire and lead youth and train others to do so; and who is administratively organized and fiscally and technologically literate, but capable of and willing to delegate to a talented staff and highly involved congregation. Our rector will join us in our frequent social gatherings and participate with us in laughter as well as when we support each other in times of trouble.
He or she will assume leadership within the community and the Diocese in furtherance of our Bishop’s goals of advancing the church through the practice of radical hospitality, passionate spirituality and creative ministry.

Our Worship Tradition
